This high efficient gas furnace can be set up as a backup heat source to the heat pump’s primary heating capabilities. This allows for potential government & utility rebates, as well as less pollution because a heat pump does not directly burn fuel to produce heat.
This particular heat pump has a cooling efficiency rating as high as 24 SEER, this will allow for less energy consumption and utility spending compared to the current standard of 13 SEER for traditional Air Conditioners.
